I was happy with the work through Companion - I think they do a good job with dentals.

I have a pack of dogs and 2 of them are 12 years old. Neither have had their teeth brush or dental work by a vet. I give them raw bone (made for dogs) once every 3 weeks. They have virtually no tartar or plaque. It might be some to try.....

It is unusual for such a young lab to be having such tartar build up. Are giving raw safe bone? Feeding a high quality diet? You could also go to a different vet and not say anything about her teeth and see if they say there is a problem...

    Hi Deb,
I go to Caring Hearts Veterinary - they are very reasonable. A few years back, I took a dog to Companion Animal Hospital, and the dental was also a lot less than the range you wrote about. Good luck!
