Artist seeks help finding dalmatian's owner

Vera Dennen painted this portrait of a dog in 2004 or 2005 and is looking for the dog's owner.
Mystery solved! Vera Dennen says she heard from the dog's owner, who was thrilled to see news about the painting. "He said I could not have made his Christmas any more special if I had tried," Dennen said.
The dog's name was Fiasco, and he died in 2007. The owner plans to buy the painting, with the proceeds going to a dalmatian rescue group, savethedals.org.

The cool Web site Petplace.com posted these top 10 dog and cat videos of 2008 (including the one of the dog in the snow that Cori already posted). No. 9 on the dog list is my favorite -- good for lots of laughs, including a Dalmatian riding a bicycle and a skateboarding bulldog.
