Want to register as a member of WichitaPaws.com but aren’t sure how? Follow these steps and you’ll be woofing and meowing with the rest of us in no time.

1. Click on the “Register” link in the upper-right-hand corner of any page on WichitaPaws. It’s a little small, but it’s there (right next to the “Login” button).

2. Fill out all the required contact information on the top part of the form (first and last names, city, state and zip, and e-mail address). On the bottom part of the form create a user name and password. You will use these to log in to the site. Also choose a security question so if you forget your password you can still get in to the site. Once all parts of the form are filled out, hit the submit button!

3. Now, go check the e-mail you submitted on the form above. You should receive a confirmation e-mail at that address. You MUST confirm that you want to set up a WichitaPaws account by clicking on the link in that e-mail.

4. Once all the above steps have been taken, you should be able to log in at WichitaPaws.com. Fill in the required fields (username and password) in the upper-right-hand corner of the page. You will stay on the same page, but now you should see this in the upper-right-hand corner: Logout/My Profile.

5. Click on the “My Profile” link and it will take you to the page where you can manage your photos and blog entries. In other words, you can now add photo galleries, write blog entries, and update information about yourself.

REMEMBER: If you choose to set your profile to private (meaning that only those who are on your friends list can see your blog entries and photo galleries) the you will automatically be ineligible for any WichitaPaws contest that requires a special blog entry.
