Does anyone know of a nice place to take a dog in SE Wichita? I really can't afford to join Chisolm Creek's pup park and as far as I am aware that is the only dog park, but are there any nice tracks or walking paths around? I am directionally challenged, so be specific!Confused

Above is a link to the Wichita Parks and you can Mapquest for directions! Most Wichita Parks are great places to walk with your dog. However, be warned that the Great Plains Nature Center walking grounds does not allow dogs. A lot of people in SE Wichita walk along a trail along K-96 there is a place to park right off Greenwich or you can park in the parking lot area associated with the super target. You can always take a little drive on the weekend and walk in College Hill Park or along the river! The Murfin complex will eventually have dog parks and the city is contemplating dog parks in the future. When the weather is bad, we take turn checking out the pet stores in town!

Have fun walking! It is great physical and mental stimulation!
