Does anybody know of a professional photographer that takes portraits of people with their pets?
Most of the photographers that I've dealt w/ don't seem to have a problem working w/ animals. I just make sure that before any commitments or appointments are made that its OK to bring a pet.
Remember you can always ask for samples of their work w/ pets as well!
A couple places that I know of are:
Crossroads Photography
Camera Angles
J&J Photography
There was a photography booth at one of the dog events this year, and their photos of dogs were the best I've seen in person. I don't remember their name, but I'm sure they'll be at Woodstock with a booth.
My friend Jaime Oppenheimer is a photojournalist at the Eagle. She set up a booth at Woofstock last year where she made some great portraits of people and their pets. Stop by the booth on October 4 because she's doing it again.
All of the proceeds from the sale of the photographs go to the Humane Society and they raised $1,652 last year. http://tinyurl.com/6zvunl
Two very good photographers in town work with pets (and love it):
