Well after last weekend we did not expect to do much in Grey Summit. (Cannot have 2 weekends like that in a row) We went to Purina Farms to meet up with my good friend Anne so she could take Eric for a couple of months and he can go lure coursing. Saturday 3 breeder/exhibitors told us we were robbed and should have got WD for the points. But that was okay because Sunday Eric took Winners dog and Best of Winners for a 3 point major. That gives him 11 of the 15 points he needs and 1 of the 2 majors he needs to finish his championship. He will stay with Anne for a couple of months and get to go lure coursing almost every single weekend. (I am jealous, she did say I could stay with her too, but the hubby, other dogs, and little human at home would not be so happy.)
Flash was dumped as well. Appears they wanted the smallest dog in the ring for cresteds, not the best moving dog. However, we are not worried at all. We may stay away from the show ring until spring giving both dogs the chance to mature. Than again, we may hit a show or 2 yet this fall!
Time to start working on some competitive obedience!
The weekend was great! We had a fun weekend chatting with friends. I also found an artist to paint a memorial for Lexus. When she gets it done, I will try and post a picture.
